No Boat, No Crew, No Problem! Windsong Sailing Academy offers Education, Recreation and Corporate Adventures on Lake Lanier in partnership with the county parks and recreation service. If you're finding it difficult to have the time for recreation, Windsong sailing outings are just for you. The short 2-hr instructional or recreational outing formats fit everyone's recreational time constraints while fulfilling the need for adventure and nature! Nothing beats a lazy afternoon or romantic evening of Lake Lanier Sailing. Those who desire a more comprehensive understanding find the 5-hr ground school classes the perfect addition. Windsong Sailing Academy was the first commercial training and certification facility for the American Sailing Association (A.S.A.) on Lake Lanier and today offers the most flexible approach to sailing education and recreation. Windsong's approach to training and recreation offers a UNIQUE educational and memory aided process that provides customized instruction to each student. Our policy of never more than 3 participants per instructor ensures each individual the quality attention that each deserve. This personal approach permits students to self-direct their time required for classroom as well as on-the-water practice to meet their personal goals and time frames. No single approach works for everyone and at Windsong that is a key difference in the way they serve customer's needs! Looking for certification credentials? Our classes lead to certification through the American Sailing Association (A.S.A.) and include the option to train on your schedule, not ours!
